SHELBY TWP RESIDENCE

A home designed for real life, real family, and real joy.

This project was created for the most incredible couple and their two pre-teen boys. From the first meeting, it was clear that family was at the heart of every decision they made. They wanted a home that felt beautiful, luxurious, and intentionally designed, but never fragile. Their goal was to live fully in their spaces without the constant need to tell the boys or their friends to be careful.

Every material, finish, and furnishing was selected with that balance in mind. The home needed to feel refined, yet be durable enough for everyday play, spontaneous wrestling matches, and the organized chaos that comes with a lively household. At the same time, this family is the central gathering place for their entire extended family, so the layout and selections were thoughtfully planned to handle large groups, heavy traffic, and the inevitable messes that come with hosting.

We partnered with them from architectural planning through construction detailing and then into furniture sourcing and final staging. The result is a home that is polished but practical, comfortable but elevated, and perfectly tailored to the way this remarkable family loves, lives, and celebrates together.
